A great start to the Cheese & Sausage, Fall Family Festival - the New London Area Chamber of Commerce, New London Lions Club and the Wolf River Classic Chevy Club invite you downtown to North Water St. on Friday evening for the second year of this successful event.

If you have a classic vehicle, or one you are particularly proud of, this rain or shine event is open to all makes and models. We are very excited to announce that this year we are extending an invitation to motorcycles to attend the event.  There is not a vehicle, motorcycle or spectator entry fee; dash plaques will be given to the first 150 vehicles and event patches to the first 50 motorcycles to enter.  Come and show off your hot rod, classic refurbished vehicle or motorcycle in this popular event.  There is no pre-registration.

Vehicles and motorcycles line up starting at 4 p.m. in a staging area that goes into the fifth ward, past Dairy Queen on North Water St., with viewing of vehicles and motorcycles from 5 - 9 p.m. on North Water St., downtown. A cruise starts at 9 p.m. and vehicles and motorcycles will cruise the loop on North Water St. and Wolf River Ave., and then disperse.

If you are a spectator, you can enjoy seeing some great old classics, participate in raffles, win prizes and guess at trivia as Sonic Boom DJ Entertainment – James Kelley, rounds out the evening with musical entertainment. The New London Lions Club will have food and beverages available for purchase in Taft Park - no carry-ins please.
